* Principal Brokers/Branch Brokers and Principal Lending Managers cannot renew late or reinstate their licenses online.  Since brokers and lending managers cannot renew late online they must complete the Impediment License Renewal Form.
** Licensees who are reinstating their licenses and would like to become active, will be able to activate their license 24 hours afterlicense reinstatement has been completed and must pay a $15 activation fee.

Continuing Education
Continuing Education must be completed by the 15th day of the month of license expiration to ensure an on-time renewal.  Please note: Continuing Education must be banked in the licensees individual CE account before their license can be renewed.

° Continuing Education is not required for on-time or late renewal of an inactive license.  Licensees who are reinstating their license must complete 12 hours of continuing education in addition to the continuing education which is regularly required.  Real Estate licensees who are reinstating their licenses 6 months to one year must complete 24 hours of continuing education in addition to the continuing education which is regularly required.

All new Real Estate Agents (licensed July 1, 2007 – present) are required to take the 12 Hour New Agent Course in order to renew their license regardless of active or inactive status.

Inactive License¥
License inactivation does not exempt the licensee from renewal requirements.  If an individual inactivates their license prior to expiration, the renewal of their license is still required.  Continuing Education is not required for on-time or late renewal of an inactive license.
 
¥ Appraisers do not have the option of an inactive status.
